Our Derrick Ranch, with 8 months of grazing on deeded, BLM and Forest Service allotments, is our proving ground for selecting Angus genetics that will work in an environment like yours. We are utilizing AI sires that will keep our mature cows at an appropriate mature size and milking ability for these range conditions, while getting the best growth and carcass traits possible. Structural soundness, fertility and calving ease are mandatory!
